This is one of the regions best and most sought after cool climate shiraz’s that over delivers in quality.
Naturally fermented, unfined and unfiltered. 95% shiraz co-fermented with 5% viognier.
Dark, with a brooding quality that makes you interested now but patience will, as they say, reward with this being even better cracked in 5-10 years.
Super concentrated with layers of exotic spice, flowers like violets, raspberry, plums and cherry. Lots going on with a silky palate.
A long braised lamb shank or slow cooked brisket with middle-eastern spiced veggies comes to mind as a nice combo.
