It's almost as if this wine visited Australia and slept with a Riesling in the Clare Valley. It's quintessentially German, true to its roots with a teaspoon of residual sugar for sweetness but the acidity is off-the-charts racy and the combination works really well.

If you feel like experimenting with a German then this could be a good place to start. And if you want a lively, versatile and extremely food-friendly wine? Ditto.
